This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing issues with the Spanish translation of their homepage using WPML and Thrive Architect. They are unable to properly format the translated content and are seeking a way to delete unwanted widget translations and improve future translation formatting.
Solution:
We have identified that the Thrive Architect plugin is not compatible with WPML's Advanced Translation Editor, as mentioned in our documentation here. To resolve the issue, we recommend the following steps:
1. Delete the translated page that is not formatted correctly.
2. Duplicate the original page using the method outlined in our documentation here.
3. Manually translate the duplicated page.
If further assistance is needed, we can provide a screen recording to help guide the client through the process.

Please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. If the issue persists, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If you still need help, please open a new support ticket here.

Thanks for your reply.

Sorry, I don't have access to the Website that you're working on. Therefore, I will require temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to a test site where the problem has been replicated, if possible. This will enable me to provide better assistance and determine if any configurations need to be modified.

Please note that it is important to have a backup for security purposes and to prevent any potential data loss. You can use the UpdraftPlus plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/) to fulfill your backup requirements.

Your upcoming reply will be treated with confidentiality and will only be visible to you and me.

✙ To resolve the issue, I may need your consent to deactivate and reactivate plugins and the theme, as well as make configuration changes on the site if necessary. This emphasizes the significance of having a backup.

Thanks for your reply.

I've checked your homepage here hidden link in the backend and I noticed that you're still using the "Advanced Translation Editor" to translate the contents.

As I've mentioned on this ticket https://wpml.org/forums/topic/automatic-translation-not-working-after-site-moved/#post-15283109 , the Thrive Architect plugin that you're using is not compatible with WPML as mentioned here https://wpml.org/plugin/thrive-architect/ . So, the contents will have to be translated manually using this method https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/

thanks... I followed instructions for manual translation... and it seems it is 100% manual zero automation is that correct example I would have to copy a paragraph and then translate that externally and then past that back in ?

If this is the case can u advise other options as this would be too time consuming... the auto worked but had a few issues , but even with the issue it seems a better solution than the manual process

This will take you to the advanced translator editor page where you can add the translation yourself or opt for an automatic translation, and then further edit the translated text as you best see fit.

So I could use automatic and then further edit....is that possible?

Thanks

Thank you for your response.

I regret the delay in getting back to you. Unfortunately, the Thrive Architect plugin isn't compatible with WPML. This means that you won't be able to utilize the Advanced Translation Editor for translation, as detailed in this link: https://wpml.org/plugin/thrive-architect/. Instead, you'll need to resort to manual translation methods for your content.

Here's what you can do: first, delete the translated page. Then, duplicate the page using the method outlined here: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/displaying-untranslated-content-on-pages-in-secondary-languages/#duplicating-content. Once duplicated, you can proceed to manually translate the duplicate page.

If you require further assistance, I can provide a screen recording to guide you through the process.
