[Resolved] We are encountering a problem with the automatic translation

We are encountering a problem with the automatic translation. We have a custom post type of Properties where we get the info from an external XML using the WP-ALL-Import plugin. We have the automatic translation enabled. We have detected that not all the entries of this CPT are translated and what is worse, there are some that are translated but the system fails to add the featured image. I think it is well configured to be done automatically, but still, it does not work for some reason. Can you help us?

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support and for your patience while we were handling high number of support queue which caused a delay in reply here.

First of all, I see your site only has 40 MB of WP memory limit which is less than the WPML requirement and could cause issues.

Please add this near the end in your wp-config.php file (just before /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
) as explained in the next link

Then, see if it makes any difference on your next import.

If the issue still persist, please let me know the Name or ID of the import that is causing the issue so that I can check it further.

Good morning Subash,
I have already increased the wp memory to 256Mb as you indicated. The bug report has not added any for now, but I see that there is still an error when setting the featured image in the automatic translations. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks

So you mean when you updated the Memory limit the issue is fixed now?

Also, would you please mind letting me know more about the "error when setting the featured image in the automatic translations"? What error/issue exactly is it and where/how can I see it on the site?

Good morning Subash,

I have finally corrected the error by changing the translation method. I no longer use the automatic translation, but I bring the translations from outside via All-import. For us it works for this project, but I think there is still a bug in WPML for automatic translation of imported content. Regards
