Background of the issue:
I am trying to build a multilanguage website (French as the original language and English as the second) using WPML. The site I need help with is hidden link.

Symptoms:
When the translated page is published, it uses the translated menu in the original language. The English menu takes over on the French page. If I want the original menu back, I have to put the translated page in draft. I have not set up the translation for the menu yet; it has taken the English menu of another page and brought it to the French one.

Questions:
How can I ensure that the original French menu remains on the French page after publishing the translated page?
Why is the English menu appearing on the French page when I have not set up the translation for the menu yet?
What steps should I follow to correctly set up and manage menus for different languages in WPML?
