[Resolved] BRUNO Closed previous topic, not solved
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: You were experiencing an issue where adding translations of paragraphs and resaving them resulted in these paragraphs being overwritten with the text of the first paragraph in Classic Translation Editor(CTE). Solution: The issue was permanently fixed in WPML v4.7.2. We recommended updating all WPML plugins to the latest version after taking a full backup of your site.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I was trying to resolve an issue with translations in WPML. Bruno closed the previous topic, but it wasn't solved. I am unsure if I have a problem now and whether I should open a new ticket every time.
Symptoms:
When I add the translation of other paragraphs and resave it, as soon as I return to the translation editor, these paragraphs are overwritten with the text of the first paragraph.
Questions:
Why was the previous topic closed?
Did you solve the issue?
Should I open a new ticket every time I encounter a problem?
I don't know, if you can do it and try finding the solution, I would like you to try any solution possible. Go ahead

Thanks for your permissions, Let's focus on debugging the initial issue first. Once that is resolved, it might also fix the other problems. As per our support policy, we handle one issue per chat/ticket. In the meantime, I’m escalating this issue to our 2nd tier support for further review.
This is very very serious, because indeed WPML is unstable and it has brings lots of problems to the websites. Every website we create and use WPML, we experience serious outages. All of a sudden translations gone :((((
we never ever had such issues, now we struggle in every website and now I am seriously considering not to use WPML hidden link
Yes, I’ll keep you informed about the progress. I understand how critical this is for you. I was able to replicate the issue on a fresh WordPress site and found that downgrading WPML Multilingual CMS to 4.6.15 and String Translation to 3.2.18 resolves the problem.
As a temporary workaround, I recommend downgrading WPML on your site after taking a full backup. I've escalated this to our team, and I’ll update you once I hear back about it.
