Background of the issue:
I am trying to get my credits to transfer to my environment. Between last week and today, I have lost 100k credits trying to transfer them to my instance. I keep getting told to delete keys and reregister, but it always breaks. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
I lost 50k credits last week and 50k today. I expected to see 52k credits, but instead, I got 2k.

Questions:
What do I need to do to make the credit transfer work consistently?
Where did my 100k credits go and how do I get them back?

Hi there.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this, and I'm here to help you resolve it.

Those credits probably got stuck.

So, please let me explain why I think this situation with the credits might be happening.

An automatic translation account ID is created when you initially install and set up WPML.

If you uninstall/reset WPML or reinstall/set WordPress from scratch, a new automatic translation account ID will be generated, and the credits will remain in the old account.

I was able to find two different automatic translation accounts: one had 50k credits, and one had 12k credits. I moved them back to your main WPML.org account, and you should see them here (http://wpml.org/account/). You already had 460k credits, and with the 62k credits credited, you now have a total of 522k credits.

Now, please go here (https://wpml.org/account/sites/) > remove the current site key for the staging domain > generate a new one > then go to your website's backend > Plugins > Add new > Commercial > UNregister WPML from the old key > RE-register WPML with the new key.

Now, you can re-add the credits to your site by following the steps here:
https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/how-to-assign-automatic-translation-credits-to-your-sites/

Please let me know if that works for you.

I'm creating a new ticket for the "unable to parse data" error message as it is a different topic:
