Hello,

In case you are using a Caching plugin, did you already try to clear the Cache of the website?

To help you faster, I've enabled a private message for submitting the debug information for this support ticket. Please see this link for how to get this information from your site and give it to us:
http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Make sure to only use the private reply form in order to provide this information. Please do not paste the debug information directly into a comment on this ticket.

Hello,

Did you for some reason not see the private reply form?

How the form works is explained here:
https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

I have enabled the private reply form again.

Further, I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the website to investigate the issue further.

You can find the required fields below the comment section when you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide is private, which means only you and I can see and access it.

IMPORTANT
Please be sure to make a backup copy of the website and database before allowing us access.
If you can't see the wp-admin / FTP fields, your post and website credentials are set as PUBLIC. DO NOT publish the data unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields.

I may have to install a plugin called "All In One WP Migration" to make a copy of the website where I can investigate the issue further.

However, I would also be very grateful if you could provide a staging site or copy of the website from your server yourself for this purpose.

If you have any questions about creating such a staging site, you can consult your hosting provider or use a plugin like the following, just make sure the server has enough free disk space:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-staging/

If you are unable to provide such a copy of the site for testing, please let me know on this ticket.

The private response form looks like this:

Next time you reply, click "I still need assistance."

Please note that we are obliged to request this information individually on each ticket. We may not access any access information not specifically submitted on this ticket in the private response form.

Best regards
Andreas

Hello,

If your WP Residence Custom Field is a dropdown or a numeric field, then please set it at WPML > Settings > Custom Field Translation to "copy".

The field labels and values will be translated with WPML > String Translation in this case.

Set only custom field with text field values to "Translate".

Best regards
Andreas

Hello,

The only options we have for those fields are the settings at WPML > Settings> Custom Field Translation.

It can be the case with other plugins that create custom fields that in some cases, untranslated fields show up in the original language on translated content, but in this case, this seems not to be possible.

This is more related to how the custom fields are coded and not to WPML.

On WP Residence it appears to be necessary to first configure the fields properly and further translate them on String Translation which is why WP Residence suggest setting all fields to "Translate" in their documentation for WPML.

Somehow the "Translate" settings seem not to work with Dropdown, so we need to set them to "Copy" which means that at the moment that you translate the post, this Dropdown setting is copied to the translation - otherwise the Dropdown would be empty on the WordPress Editor on the translated post and this is why the field does not appear.

The actual translation of the dropdown value and the field label is then translated on WPML > String Translation.

Best regards
Andreas

You didnt understood me. In my last question Im not askink about custom fields, i asked about whole property advertise. Look at the pictures. On english original page i see all properties list. On polish translation i see only translated properties. But i would like to see in polish version also not translated yet properties. Is somewhere in WPML that option available?

Hello,

I am sorry for the misunderstanding, yes this is possible.

Please go to WPML > Setting > Post Type Translation and set "Properties" to "Translatable - or fallback to default language if a translation does not exist".

Guide:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/displaying-untranslated-content-on-pages-in-secondary-languages/#using-the-default-language-as-a-fallback-for-untranslated-content

Hello. Thanks for this advice.... it works. I only found one small problem which you can see on pictures. In polish version Properties which are not translated have only one main picture. What option i have to change to get all gallery pictures in not yet translated properties?

Hello,

This seems to be a compatibility issue between WP Residence and WPML when using the fallback option for properties.

I can offer to provide a test site with WPML on which you can install WP Residence and we try to recreate this issue and escalate it internally to our Compatibility Team for further revision.

It is mandatory for me to confirm that this issue persists on a new WordPress install in a minimal setup, which means that we are handling a general issue.

Would you be able to provide the Theme and its plugins for this test?

Best regards
Andreas
