WordPress 6.7 has introduced a new issue that impact translations, please update WooCommerce and WPML to the latest versions before you report issues. More about this here - https://wpml.org/errata/php-error-wp-6-7-notice-function-_load_textdomain_just_in_time-was-called/
Background of the issue:
I am trying to manually translate content on my site hidden link using WPML. I have a menu on the left side with a type called services, and within services, there are several posts. These posts are created using Elementor.
Symptoms:
I can only translate regular fields visible with the edit option, but I don't know how to translate Elementor pages and elements. I am unable to find or enable fields created in Elementor for translation.
Questions:
How can I translate Elementor pages and elements using WPML?
How do I enable or find fields created in Elementor for translation?
I am not 100% sure which part of the content you want to translate, but from my understanding, you are using Elementor, and content from some specific blocks/widgets doesn't show up for translation.
There's a chance that these widgets are custom ones, coming from the current theme or another active plugin, and WPML might not be able to see those blocks by default.
Hi Mihai,
I found how to enable fields for translation of elementor fileds.
As you can see on picture "translation", i changed text in html code.
After translation, I can not see translation of elementor fields (content) on front page - the left side menu shows translation from regular edit page, but translation from elementor is not showing.
I raised memory limit on 256M (i found on some site that memory can be problem), but still nothing.
Br,
Rastko
1. Can you please share some links with me (the front-end URL of the page where the translation still doesn't show up, the backend URL where you translated that content).
2. I would like to kindly request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site in order to thoroughly examine the issue. The necessary fields can be found below the comment area. When you log in to leave your next reply, please be assured that the information you enter is private and will only be visible to you and me.
Our Debugging Procedures
I will thoroughly review various settings in the backend to determine if the issue can be resolved. While I will not make changes that affect the live site, it is still advisable to back up the site before granting us access. Should further debugging be necessary, I will create a duplicate and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid any impact on the live site.
- Prior to granting us access, please ensure that the site files and database are backed up.
If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields, please refrain from posting your website details as they will be made public. Kindly request me to enable the private box if you do not see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. You can find the private box by following this link: hidden link
