Background of the issue:
I have translated all my webpages and currently use the 'Different languages in directories' format for Language URLs. I want to change this to 'different domain per language' after translating all English pages into Japanese. I have two domains for the English webpage: en.neotel.tech and global.neotel.tech.

Symptoms:
No specific issue or error message mentioned.

Questions:
Can I change the Language URL format after translating all webpages?
Is it easy to change the Language URL format from 'Different languages in directories' to 'different domain per language'?
Can I keep global.neotel.tech and en.neotel.tech pointing to the English webpage and jp.neotel.tech pointing to the Japanese webpage after changing the URL format?

You can change your site’s language URL at any time by going to WPML → Languages.

If you’d like to set up your site so that each language uses its own domain (for example, example.com for English and example.fr for French), you’ll need to follow this guide:
https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/language-url-options/how-to-use-wpml-with-different-domains-per-language/#how-to-enable-different-languages-per-domain

Please note that configuring multiple domains requires adjustments in your domain registrar and hosting settings, which we’re not able to assist with directly.

Once the language URLs are set up, all dynamic links (such as menu items) will work automatically. If you’ve added any hard-coded URLs in your content, those would need to be updated manually or by using a plugin such as Better Search Replace.

If you disable this validation checkbox and save, does the other domain work?

Also, do both of your domains pass this test?
