Trying to translate my site from English to Dutch. Every time I attempt to do this, I get critical WP errors and the site completely fails. I have to do a manual backup every time and restore the site just to get back in.

I'm following the back-end translation wizard provided by the tool. I'm able to get to the "finish" screen every time.

I can provide a list of plug-ins, or theme information as needed. It would probably be easiest if I provided a WP login for you to troubleshoot our staging environment. Because the site is throwing a critical error, I can't even provide WPML Debug Info. I have to restore to the previous back up point.

What is the link to your site?

Hi,

Please enable the WordPress debug log. This will allow us to see if any PHP errors are being produced.

1. Edit wp-config.php and insert the following lines (just before /* That's all, stop editing! Happy publishing. */ part)

define( 'WP_DEBUG', true);
define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);

2. Reproduce the issue.

3. Locate the debug log in: /wp-content/debug.log

4. Paste the latest lines here. No need to paste the entire log file, just 20 lines or so will do. Please censor any sensitive information.
