This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing an issue where the first field in the WPML Translation Editor shows as green and translated but turns yellow and requires verification every time to complete the translation and reach 100%, we can explain why this is happening.
Solution:
The yellow band in the WPML Translation Editor indicates that the translation for a word or sentence was initially loaded from the translation memory. If the original text has been changed, the translation memory won't recognize the new content, and the yellow band will appear to signal that the translation needs to be updated. Additionally, if the field is loading dynamic content, any new or modified text will cause the yellow band to appear as a prompt for updating the translation. To ensure the translated text is displayed correctly, it's necessary to complete the translation after any modifications to the original content.

Another thing that i've noticed is even though i have completed the translations in all languages if i enter the page using the WPML Translation Editor the first field that is showing green and translated with the right content is turning into yellow and it has to be checked every time in order to complete the translation and reach the 100%.

Thank you in advance

Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I understand the issue you're experiencing and am happy to clarify the meaning of the yellow band in the WPML Translation Editor. The yellow band indicates that the specific word or sentence's translation was initially loaded from the translation memory. However, if there have been changes made to the text or sentence, the WPML Translation memory will not recognize this newly added text. Therefore, the yellow band appears alongside the altered text or sentence, indicating that you need to update the translation for this changed content.

It's also possible that the field turning yellow each time might be loading dynamic content. This means that whenever new text is added or existing content is modified, the Translation Editor displays the yellow band as a prompt for updating the translation.

To ensure that the translated text is displayed correctly, it's necessary to complete the translation, especially after any modifications to the original content. I hope this explanation helps you understand the process better.

Please let me know if you need further clarification or assistance in this matter. I will be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
