I am trying to: Update WPML from 4.2.1 to 4.6.4

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: Installation complete

Instead, I got: "Download mislukt. (Not Found)"

Sidenote: I have been updating several sites since thursday because our hosting provider wants to upgrade to PHP 8. The auto-update seems to work on newer sites that run on WPML 4.3.10, but not as far back as 4.2.1 apparently? Sorry for the confusion earlier, I edited this to clarify I was wrong about the cause of the issue.

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support. While you are waiting for one of my colleagues to take this ticket and work on it, let me provide you with the first debugging steps or if I can help with the issue quickly.

We have provided a comprehensive guide on updating the WPML plugin from an outdated version. You can find it at https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-safely-update-wpml-from-an-old-to-new-version/. Before attempting the update, please ensure that you have backed up all your website files and database. Would you mind giving it a try?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
