I am using Bulk Automatic Translation for translating posts on blog. Sometimes the process stutters and the translation takes longer, but after refreshing the page multiple times, everything works. I find that when I translate posts from PL to EN that in addition to the translation in English, duplicate entries are created in the Polish version, but in English. So I have 1xPL, and I want to have 1xPL + 1xEN, but I get: 1xPL (oryginal) + 1xEN +1xEnglishBUTinPLversion. Sometimes even two additional entries are created. W logach mam jedynie taki zapis: AMS Server Communication Active record record not found: Couldn't find Translator with [WHERE `translators_websites`.`website_id` = ? AND `translators`.`email` = ?] 0 0 {"errorData":{"status":404,"title":"Active record record not found","detail":"Couldn't find Translator with [WHERE `translators_websites`.`website_id` = ? AND `translators`.`email` = ?]"}} As I understand it, translation credits are taken double (sometimes triple)? How can this error be corrected and what does it result from? Thank! |

Hello there, Welcome to WPML support, I'd be happy to help you with this. Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) uses a translation memory feature which means if you translate the same content in multiple places it will use the translations from the memory and not use auto-translations which costs credits, so I think the credits shouldn't be charged multiple times. But I can do a quick check internally and see the credit usage, can you provide me a page example where you feel the credits may be over-charged? You mentioned two entries are created, do you mean two posts on the dashboard? if yes, can you also provide examples of these types of entries? Further, To debug this issue further, I would need to check your site settings once, for this I would need temporary access (wp-admin and ftp) to your site. So could you please provide me with those details, you will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. This info is private and available to you and WPML supporters only. Note: Look forward to your reply. Thanks |

Hello there, I will be unable to help without the test site, on my localhost install the posts aren't double-translated. Can you try to create a test site and see if you can reproduce the issue there? Look forward to your reply. Thanks |

But to duplicate it I would have to auto-translate from 10 to 20 posts. Who will refund my money for that? Can you please create a copy of my site at your place and test it on your credits there? |

1) Moreover, the logs show that there is a problem with the connection with AMS Server: Started attempt to download xliff file. The process did not finish. Isn't the problem simply on your side? 2) And by the fact that it can't download, it tries several times and then these duplicate entries are created? 3) Also, did you check if the charges were double-counted? |

Hello there, Moreover, the logs show that there is a problem with the connection with AMS Server: Started attempting to download the xliff file. The process did not finish. This can happen when Advanced Translation Editor (ATE) tries to send translations but the site doesn't receive them due to various reasons, (PHP errors, timeouts, server timeouts) 2) And by the fact that it can't download, it tries several times, and then these duplicate entries are created? If the job couldn't be downloaded, it should re-try instead of creating a new page/post duplicate so this is not usual behavior. 3) Also, did you check if the charges were double-counted? I tested with the post translated in January and December and in multiple checks I don't find any page being charged twice. Can you provide me a link that you think can be double charged? Further, I can download the site and debug this further, for that I would need your site copy, you can download a plugin called duplicator and share the duplicator package with me using google drive. Look forward to your reply. Thanks |

You didn't answer my question: Isn't the problem simply on your side? What I have in mind here is precisely the excessively slow response of the ATE server. The reason I ask is because I made 150 posts and it was ok. Now even when I make 2 this situation happens, and it is not a matter of slowness of my server.... And do I understand correctly: that if it is a problem with the slow response of the ATE server that may result that WPLM plugin create an entry, however, because there will be a slow response it will get so confused that it will create two entries? |

Hello there, What I have in mind here is precisely the excessively slow response of the ATE server. Are your servers not under load? We don't have reports of servers being under load today, all the jobs are being delivered without any issues and I can confirm that. And do I understand correctly: that if it is a problem with the slow response of the ATE server that may result that WPLM plugin create an entry, however, because there will be a slow response it will get so confused that it will create two entries. Slow response in any case should create a timeout on your site, and stop the process, I don't see slow response being a reason for duplicate entries, although I can't be 100% without debugging first. Thanks |
