Background of the issue:
I am trying to use the WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency plugin with Digital License Manager PRO (hidden link) for distributing passwords to customers. After updating the WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency plugin, I had to downgrade to make my site work again.
Symptoms:
In my main language (Danish), everything works fine, but in secondary languages, the license number is not displayed on the 'thank you page', email, or invoice. There is a mismatch between Digital License Manager and the most recent version of WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency. Downgrading to WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency 5.3.9 resolved the frontend issue, but now I have a backend error: 'WPML Update is Incomplete. You are running updated sitepress-multilingual-cms and wpml-string-translation, but the following components are not updated: woocommerce-multilingual (required version: 5.4.0)'.
Questions:
Is the error caused by Digital License Manager PRO or WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency?
How can I resolve the backend error message after downgrading?
Thanks for contacting us. This sounds like a compatibility issue. Could you please replicate the issue on our sandbox site here hidden link ? You are free to install the required plugins and themes to replicate the issue.
As for the "WPML Update is Incomplete" error, this happens because you've updated the WPML plugins and not WCML. You can ignore that message while we troubleshoot the issue for you.
