Background of the issue:
I am trying to make a translation from English to Spanish using WPML. I use Qode Bridge theme with WP Bakery and WPML for more than 10 years. I have this problem since a few versions, if I revert WPML everything works as expected. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
Symptoms:
The translation manager is not showing all the content to be translated. After making changes in the English version, the Spanish content got overwritten with a duplicated version of the English page. In the page editor, I see all the content, but most of the fields for translation are missing in the translation manager.
Questions:
Why is the translation manager not showing all the content to be translated?
How can I prevent the Spanish content from being overwritten with the English version?
Languages: English (English )Spanish (Español )German (Deutsch )
Timezone: America/Lima (GMT-05:00)
Hello,
Try to open the original content on the WordPress Editor and enable WP Bakery of if you edit the original content on the WP Bakery Frontend Editor and then save the content again, after making a change.
Now, open the WPML Translation Editor. Did this solve the issue?
Best regards
Andreas
