Background of the issue:
Running Wordfence scans on sites, and the WPML SEO plugin is showing an 'appears to be abandoned' error. I realize this is likely not the case, but I just wanted to confirm that the plugin is still active, and still to be used, and not something we should retire or replace.

Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I understand your concern. Wordfence flags a plugin as "Abandoned" if it hasn't received an update in the last two years. While WPML itself and most of its add-ons receive regular updates, the WPML SEO plugin hasn’t had a new release in the last two years.

However, this doesn't mean we've stopped WPML SEO development. We're actively working on improvements and new features for the WPML SEO plugin, and we are expecting to release an update soon.

Rest assured, the plugin has not been abandoned, and it's safe to disregard this warning.

Feel free to let me know if you have any other questions or need clarification. I will be happy to assist.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
