Is the WPML SEO plugin required when using SEOPress Pro?

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is developing a site using SEOPress Pro and is unsure if the WPML SEO plugin is required for compatibility and what features might be missed if not used.
Solution:
We have confirmed that it is not required to use the WPML SEO plugin with SEOPress Pro. SEOPress handles multilingual SEO well on its own. You can refer to our documentation for optimizing WPML with SEOPress here: Optimize WPML multilingual sites for search engines using SEOPress.
If you are using the PRO version of SEOPress, you might need to contact the developers for a compatibility update. More details can be found in this support forum post: WPML forum discussion.

Jean-Francois	Background of the issue: I am developing a site and using SEOPress Pro, which is compatible with WPML. I noticed that WPML offers a 'WPML SEO' plugin and mentions compatibility with Yoast and Rank Math. Symptoms: I am unsure if SEOPress (free and pro) requires the WPML SEO plugin and what benefits or features I might miss out on if I don't use it. Questions: Is the WPML SEO plugin required when using SEOPress Pro? Does SEOPress (free and pro) require the WPML SEO plugin? Can we do without using the WPML SEO plugin with SEOPress? What features or benefits are we missing out on if we don't use the WPML SEO plugin with SEOPress?

Jean-Francois	Hi, You say "You should be fine without using the WPML SEO [...]". I want to know if it REQUIRED, you're not answering my question. I did look at your links, I had already read the 1st and notice the other one is 16 months old, so I'm inclined to think it's solved by SEOPress at this point. Looking at the SEOPress website, I see that they make no mention of your WPML SEO companion plugin : hidden link So, are you able to tell me if "WPML SEO" is absolutely REQUIRED for WPML to work with SEOPress Pro or not, or if simply using your core plugin and String Translation will be enough?
