This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
If you're experiencing an issue where WPML displays unwanted ACFields despite the "Translation Option" being set to "Same fields across languages", and you have used a specific theme that might be causing this behavior.
Solution:
We recommend following these steps to resolve the issue:
1. Navigate to ACF > Field Group > Sync available and sync the two field groups.
2. Edit the two field groups and simply click on save.
3. Update the post and re-translate it.
This should ensure that the button "background" value will not appear in the Advanced Translation Editor.

If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.

Hi Pieter,

Thank you for contacting WPML support, I’m happy to help you with this issue.

I try to replicate the issue on my localhost, add the block "Content With Visual" to a new post and translate it, but don't see the button group value in the Advanced Translation Editor. Here is the screen record hidden link

If a field preference is set to Copy, the field value won't be displayed in the Advanced Translation Editor for translation.

If you want to test on a clean installation, please click on this link hidden link
you can access the admin area directly.

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks

Do you have activated provided theme because this looks like twentytwentyone?
I installed theme on provided sandbox but that throws 500 error, maybe ACF wasn't activated. I have clear installation with that issue to share but looks like you need to activate sharing private details.

Yes, I use the theme TwentyTwentyOne of WordPress and import field groups to the local site. I see the issue when activating your theme, let me discuss this issue with our 2nd tier support. I will update you here when I have something to share.

Thanks.

Hi,

I got some information from our 2nd tier support. Probably, there is an issue with the JSON file. We follow steps below to fix the issue on the sandbox site when using your test theme.

1. Go to ACF > Field Group > Sync available > Sync two field groups.
2. Edit two field groups > Just click on save.
3. Update the post and re-translate it.

The button "background" value will not be available in the Advanced Translation Editor again.

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks

Yeah that did the trick, but it is kinda weird because I started with setting translation types in all field groups, so this is kind "double save method".
