This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client reported that a string at the bottom of BetterDocs pages was not showing the translation, despite the translation being in place and having worked previously.

Solution:
We recommended that the client should first update the WPML plugin and add-ons to the latest version to ensure they have all the latest bug fixes and improvements. We provided instructions for updating and emphasized the importance of backing up the database before proceeding.

If the issue persisted after updating, we suggested the following steps:
1. Go to WPML → String Translation.
2. Enable the option "Look for strings while pages are rendered".
3. Navigate to the page where untranslated strings are displayed.
4. Return to WPML → String Translation and check if the string has been registered.
5. If found, translate the string.

We also provided a link to the documentation for finding and translating strings that do not appear on the String Translation page:

The string at the bottom of BetterDocs pages does not show the translation (it used to work before)

Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

I expected to see: ¿Sigues atascado/a? ¿Cómo podemos ayudarte? at the bottom of BetterDocs pages

Instead, I got: Still stuck? How can we help? (original English text, even if the translation is in place and it useed to work previously)

Thank you for contacting WPML support.

Could you please update your WPML plugin to the latest version 4.6.9 and add-ons to benefit from the latest bug fixes and improvements? This may not necessarily resolve your problem, however, in order to troubleshoot the issue best we need to work on the latest code available.

You can check the latest released versions under "My Account -> Downloads" on this site. Instructions to update can be found here: http://wpml.org/faq/install-wpml/

Please remember to backup your database first before you proceed. You can use a plugin for this if you like (example: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/)

Let me know if the issue persists after an update has been done. If still the issue, I suggesting deleting the string and re-translating it again. You can find a string in the following way:
1. Go to WPML → String Translation.
2. Enable the option "Look for strings while pages are rendered".
3. Navigate to the page where untranslated strings are displayed.
4. Return to WPML >> String Translation and verify if the given string has been registered.
5. Translate the string.
