Hi, Erik here not Dennis (Dennis, is my college of partner company)

I did everything by the docs, i paid over 300 euro on pay as i go, i think 90 euro before deinstall en reinstal. nothing works only the real pages on WP are working all other pages (posts) do not open, a normal news button in menu - category news from egmond, gets translated in Pressmessages or NEWS RELEASES, main menu (right) does not open the categorys but other pages or gives error.

Second issue the categories build pages of Divi Extra dont get translated at all
Third Isseu: alle micro images are gone in other languages.
Fourd: Posts only shop the man subject not in post itself.

I am i builder for over 20 years and used WPML more times

To resolve i tried:

- open en close permalinks in the 3 languages
- Reran all settings possible
- refresh WP cache, Redis, Cloudflare
- Reinstalled WP
- Reinstalled WPML
- Disable shield security
- Disable Cache all together and CF selected Development mode.
- Disabled all plugins one by one and tested.
- Renamed and rebuild menus (even by hand)
- Sync menu from wpml
- open en close alle menus (resave)
- Tried 3 different Browsers Chrome, Edge, Firefox
- in Divi Extra team options tab performance (all OFF)

solved some of the errors but the menulinks to categories in German languages dont give errors and translation is missing up tekst en css (it seems after link a enter)

Thank you for contacting WPML support, I'd be happy to help you with this issue.

Checking your website, I see the domain in the English language is hidden link, and one of the category link in the main menu is hidden link
I see this category page works properly, please check this screenshot hidden link

If it is not the main issue, can you please share some screenshots of this on your end?

its the german pages that are most giving the problems the UK version are missing images and page build ups like teh german. Also the categorie menus (right side not the left top menu. in German is not working at all.

Thank you for your feedback.

I see some categories in the Dutch language are subcategories, for example: hidden link

Please make sure all the categories and subcategories are translated completely to the German and English languages and sync the hierarchical also, kindly follow the documentation

You can also follow the troubleshooting steps below and see if it helps.

1. Enable a minimal environment:
- Deactivate all non-WPML plugins
- Switch to a standard theme of WordPress

2. Go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting > Click on some buttons
- [Posts] Synchronize posts taxonomies
- Clear the cache in WPML
- Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
- Fix element_type collation
- Fix WPML tables collation
- Fix terms count
- Fix post type assignment for translations

❌ IMPORTANT: Please backup your database and website before proceeding ❌

same on other call:Dear Long i clicked and tried about everything, and its taking to mutch of my time, can you or someone with the knowledge assist me by login in. i off course would pay for the time.
This is a tourist site and in 2-4 weeks this site must be up and running 100% for now because of all the extra data the site is about 50% slower. i need to address this also after the implementation, maybe move the german site as i standalone url to speed up for dutch users and German users (about 70& in summer.) 4000-6000 a day. Please advice.

Maybe a better suggestion is to restore a backup from before WPML installation and let a specialist do the whole implementation for me. My only issue then is, is it possible that WPML won't charge me again for all the new translations. If this can be worked out, i think that would be the best solution. IF you know a guy (maybe you) who would do this for me ? Paid off course, let's say 100 euro. B.R Erik (erik@erc-automatisering.nl

It depends on the content on your site. If the content is the same after you restore the backup, you will not be charged credits again because the content is saved to the translation memory on our site.
Please read more on the documentation https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/how-wpml-keeps-track-of-your-translations/

=> Note: After restoring the backup, please do not use the Automatic Translation immediately. Just try to translate a page/post with Advanced Translation Editor (same content as before) and see if the translation is filled in automatically. If not, please let me know, I will help you to check this on our side.

If you want to let me check the issue on your site, please share temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to a testing site where the issue is replicated. Your next reply is set to private to share the info.

Deactivating all plugins and leaving only WPML plugins activate and I see the category page is working as well, please check this screenshot hidden link

Note: I'm using the directory language format because I'm not able to access the German domain on my end.

dutch does not open the right pages or categories see screenshop, with all plugins off
frontpage articles are not clickable.
flags are gone from menu all around? topmenu

domain does not switch to other language.

Server side no blocks.

what is your ip?

I approved all german transation.

ok i could not fix it and what you did not solve any of the problems. sorry. so i put backup back from 7 days ago, before al the settings and translations were set. but wpml is installed/

Funny is that the message is in german and i am on dutch pages.

Random i get this (now it was in sync menu's but i seen it also after wpml update and by starting the plugin.: please advice

I removed the menu's i got the error from. so looks fixed. now the translation work starts again.

Ok reinstall without plugins, cache etc.

Ok did it all again from the backup from 07-04 all exactly the same problems. UK goes fine, but the German keeps giving empty pages and categories. i did the translation step by step en used all available tools from wpml like menu sync etc.

What i found out is that wpml does not handle the divi blocks so it only chows text on that page or only one block. And it links to wring sites , even when i checked links again to rebuild menus and so fort. can i hire somebody with actual knowledge of divi extra and wpml, i also gave the guys at DVI a shout-out and told the issues at hand. I tried with 3 other sites of mine www. Yachtsigns.com, cat-international.com etc. and the work fine, it's just the divi extra categories option that gives the problems together with the blocks of that theme.
I ran wpml without cache and reddis.

so issues:

no blocks build up on posts in German (image 1)
no catagories on german main menu exept in german the geschafte that on works.

I think i found the problem
The moment the category or normal postst use the divi block posts, the page breaks if i use a blog feed masonry it works.

I rebuild the category, German Besuche by hand with only divi block text or masonry block and the work.

the other category pages are still original to check and maybe find a fix,

All the posts in German are also only giving the header not the text of the posts not even if i dont use divi for the posts.

believe me i tested all the plugins, changed server, changed php, changed divi version, reinstalled wpml, increased memory.

and so on..

If you dont know how to solve it please let me know, maybe its best to send em back my creditcard costs, tell divi and use a aternative like TranslatePress on testing that seems to work fine.

But i paid for wpml (livetime) so i dont want to change it.

i CHECKED THE GERMAN PAGE, hidden link also category page and with posts as divi blocks and on that page it works fine.

After i opend and save again the menus backend were gone, and the page dit not link anymore to the menu, but the url by hand works. and also i forget to tell you in UK
