Background of the issue:
I am trying to resolve an issue with the webshop shop.omnimesh.be where images added to a category in WooCommerce are not displayed on the front-end (in other languages). In the browser inspector, the URL of the image is correctly added to the variable --awb-bg-image, but when assigning the style background-image, it shows that it is ‘not defined’. The page in question is hidden link (You need to be logged in). I am following the documentation at https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/media-translation/.

Symptoms:
Images in a WooCommerce category are not displayed on the front-end.

Questions:
Are we overlooking something here?
Is there something else we can try to resolve this?
