Background of the issue:
I need to explain to a client why WPML is the best option for translation. I am trying to gather information to support this explanation. I have posted my questions on the WPML forum.

Hello, I'm not sure how you'd like us to help you here since the link you mentioned seems to contain what you were trying to achieve. Could you please clarify so we can offer the best help possible here?
There's only one thing from the last chat with my colleague that I want to clarify.
WPML is a plugin and translating via the native translation editor from wordpress will still be affected by WPML since we are the ones that do all the "magic" behind the scenes to connect a page with another (from a different language).
I suspect that when you mention "WPML" you actually mean the WPML translation editor (The Advanced or Classic Translation Editor) and if that's the case what I can tell you is the following:
- By using it you'll be saving time in the future since you only need to care about the actual content, not its structure, which makes things more difficult if you do this with the native editor from WordPress (imagine having to modify each column, each text, on all the languages!)
- You have automatic translation: it will save you time and if you use the WPML AI translation engine, it will probably prevent you from even having to review it (or it will greatly save you time in doing so, otherwise)
those 2 points basically translate to: it's comfortable and it will save you time in the future.
I hope that answered your question, but let me know if it wasn't the case.
