This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client used automatic translation mode and later realized that the glossary existed, leading to unwanted translations of certain words. They need a quick and reliable solution to update the translations according to the glossary without manually editing due to the large number of pages.
Solution:
We have confirmed that the feature to apply new glossary terms to existing translations will be available in the upcoming WPML 4.7 release. Until then, the only available method is to manually edit the translations using the WPML Advanced Translation Editor.

If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Background of the issue:
I translated the site with the automatic mode and unfortunately realised later that the glossary existed, so the plugin also translated what I would not have wanted. I added the words not to be translated in the glossary.

Symptoms:
The automatic translation included words that should not have been translated according to the glossary.

Questions:
How do I update the translations according to the words in the glossary?

Hello Paolo,

I checked it internally and the feature of applying a new glossary term to an already existing translation is going to be added in the next versions.

I could confirm that this feature is going to be available in the next release WPML 4.7 that is expected to be launched in the upcoming weeks.

In the meantime I'm afraid that it'd be necessary to manually edit the translations and replace the terms directly in there using the WPML Advanced Translation Editor.

I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you,
Mateus

Alright, however, I need to conclude quickly and cannot wait for weeks. Manually entering the data would lead to too many errors due to the large number of pages. I need a solution that is as immediate and reliable as possible.

Hello there,

I checked it internally for a different workaround that wouldn't require you to manually update the terms, but I'm afraid that this is the only option. Otherwise we need to wait until this feature is released.

Thank you for your understanding and I'll keep you posted.
