This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client reported that some product categories were missing in English compared to the number of categories in French.
Solution:
We recommended the client to navigate to WooCommerce → WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency → Categories and translate the missing categories. Additionally, we pointed out that under the Status tab in the same section, it was indicated that "42 Product categories are missing translations."

We advised that by translating these product categories, the number of English categories should match the French ones, as each translated category creates a new category linked to the original.
