This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
1. The customer needs to change the word "expédition" to "envoyer" in all forms on the website.
2. Some URL links do not include the /fr/ prefix in translated versions, causing 404 errors.
3. The client wants to change an image on all translated pages.
4. The customer wants the language switcher to display language abbreviations (FR, NL) instead of full names.

Solution:
1. If a Divi Form Widget was used, simply open the content translation and adjust the translation within the WPML Translation Editor.
2. For links that do not include the /fr/ prefix, it is necessary to verify that the content is 100% translated and published in the WPML Translation Editor. If the problem persists, you can search for button links and image URLs in the Advanced Translation Editor using the dedicated text search field.
3. Although there is no way to change images in bulk, you can use the "WPML Media Translation" plugin to upload alternative images for different languages. WPML Media Translation Guide
4. To edit the language names, you can go to WPML > Languages > Edit Languages. Edit the WPML language table

Hi, I've translated this website, however I've ran into e few problems:

1. How can I change 1 translated word complete website on the complete website? It's the "send" on each form, that translated to expédition and I want to translate it to envoyer. Is there a way to bulk change all "expédition" to "envoyer"?

2. Sometimes the link url is translated to /fr/translated-slug (which is correct), but sometimes it isn’t translated and just translates /translated-slug without the /fr/ which leads to 404 errors. How can I make it always stay on the /fr/ versions once visitors visit a /fr/ page?

3. I need to change one image to one other image on all translated pages. Is there a way to bulk change this or not?

Hello,

1. If you used a Divi Form Widget, then should be sufficient to open the translation for the content and adjust the translation inside the WPML Translation Editor.

2. Could you please provide me an example with a link to your site? Is the affected content already translated to 100% inside the WPML Translation Editor and published?

3. There is no way yet to do this in bulk, but you can use our plugin "WPML Media Translation" to upload alternative images for different languages.

Hi,

2. Yes, on the bottom of page hidden link there's VISITEZ NOTRE SALLE D'EXPOSITION with a button SALLE D'EXPOSITION. This leads to hidden link while it should lead to hidden link.

3. I've uploaded the alternative image but nothing changed (see screenshots). The green circle still has the dutch text on the french pages (also visible on hidden link)

Have you already tried to search the button links and image source URLs in the Advanced Translation Editor by using the dedicated text search field?

Hi, got everything to work, thanks!

One last question: I want the language switcher in the menu to not show the complete language name (e.g. Francais or Nederlands) but FR or NL. How can I achieve this?

You can edit the language names at WPML > Languages > Edit languages.
