I somehow missed the setup screen for wpml. Started creating and translating pages. Uses ACF, many fields. For one page there is "waiting for translator" and cog icons.

Need to delete these and translate "onsite", but there is no Jobs tab in Translation management. I see the mode for site is translate automatically, although we translate everything ourselves and onsite. For translation of this page it moves me to another domain e.ate.wpml.org, but there is so little information to translate, it does not work.

I need to "start over" with the translation of that one page and create + normal old style wordpress onsite translations for these pages as for other pages I have.

If I change translation mode, will it delete something. I do not want to start over and translate everything again, there is so much work already invested. It is just that one page (home page), that I cannot translate.

The site is in development but on another server and uses the wpml package of the service provider, we develop on that server. I need to translate the page in wordpress, not outside on e.ate.wpml.org.

I do not understand all these settings for new wpml version, I want to translate the page the old way, in wordpress.

Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support. I will try my best to assist you in this matter.

I can understand your concern and will be happy to address them for you. During the setup process, you will be prompted to choose a Translation Mode. From there, you can select whether you want to translate content automatically or manually. Maybe the Automatic translation was selected from there. Although, I'm not sure how you missed the Setup screen.

However, the "Jobs" tab on "Translation Management" will only appear if the manual translation is enabled. If you want to cancel the existing job and don't want to use the Automatic translation, please change the Translation mode to "Manual Translation". Please follow the steps mentioned below.

- Go to "WPML > Settings"
- From the "Translation Mode" section, click on "Change Mode"
- A popup will appear on clicking the link. From the Popup select "Translate What You Choose" and click on Continue.
- In the next step, choose a translator.
- Save the settings.

After that, you should see the "Jobs" tab if you go to the "WPML > Translation Management" page. As you're saying that everything is manually translated using the native WordPress Editor, I hope you'll not face issues by switching to Manual translation.

Please check this documentation for more information: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/#how-to-translate-pages-posts-and-custom-posts

Now, In WPML, there are 3 ways to include translation for the content and they are Advanced Translation Editor, Classic Translation Editor, and Native WordPress Editor. In your case, the Advanced Translation Editor was selected, which is why, you were redirected to a dedicated Translation Editor server(e.ate.wpml.org) to include the Translations.

If you want to translate content manually, using the WordPress Editor, I kindly request you to follow the instructions mentioned in the documentation below.

I hope it will help. But, let me know if there is anything else you need help with. I will be happy to assist you.

Best Regards,
Prosenjit
