I've translated a couple of landing pages from the main (Estonian) language to a secondary option (Finnish). All the pages are built with Elementor and some widgets with Unlimited Elements (version 1.5.93). The problem comes up with Unlimited Elements widgets that act as buttons and are supposed to link the user to the second page. These links can't be translated and they point to Estonian version but are suppose to point to Finnish one instead. Example:
hidden link (FI version)

Scroll down and click on "tilaa ilmainen näytepala", it takes you to Estonian product page but it is suppose to take you to Finnish version of that product page.

I already did the scan from WPML - Settings - Translate Link Targets, didn't change anything. I also tried to search these URL's from WPML - String Translation - Translate texts in admin screens, but they can't be found.

Hello,

Did you already try to search for the URLs by using the text search field on the top right of the Advanced Translation Editor?

Guide:

Sorry for such a late reply. There are no URL(s) in Advanced Translation Editor. Tried to search different product URL(s) from the search field but nothing came up.

Hello,

Internal links are not supposed to show up inside the WPML Translation Editor.

Those links should point to the translated products, once those products have been translated.

I would like to offer to have a closer look at the problem and request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the website to investigate this issue further.

You can find the required fields below the comment section when you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide is private, which means only you and I can see and access it.

IMPORTANT
Please be sure to make a backup copy of the website and database before allowing us access.
If you can't see the wp-admin / FTP fields, your post and website credentials are set as PUBLIC. DO NOT publish the data unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields.

The private response form looks like this:

Next time you reply, click "I still need assistance."

Please note that we are obliged to request this information individually on each ticket. We may not access any access information not specifically submitted on this ticket in the private response form.

Best regards
Andreas

I see the issue with the Card Carousel Widget from Unlimited Elements for Elementor (Premium).

Usually, this internal link should point automatically to the translated content and does not show up on the WPML Translation Editor.

I can try to create a custom XML config that would allow us to translate this link or we would need to investigate further and test the Unlimited Elements for Elementor (Premium) plugin, but I also see that we have a reported issue about the Post Carousel Widget and our devs are trying to fix this issue in a coming version of WPML.

We do have a workaround for this widget available and would need to run some tests, to also provide a workaround for the Card Carousel Widget.

I can offer a WPML Test Site but would need your cooperation in providing the latest version of Unlimited Elements for Elementor (Premium) for testing.

Would you be able to install the plugin on my test site? Let me know, and I will send you a link.
