This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
You are trying to update translated pages on your site and have noticed that graphic changes made to the original page are not reflected in the translated pages. You want these changes to automatically update without having to manually edit each translated page.
Solution:
To ensure that graphic changes to the original page are automatically applied in the translated pages, you need to synchronize the content between the original and translated pages. Here are the steps to achieve this:
1. Set Translation Preferences:
- Go to WPML > Settings.
- Under Translation Management, ensure that you have selected 'Translate Everything'. This setting will automatically translate any changes made to the original content.
2. Synchronization of Media and Content:
- Go to WPML > Settings > Media Translation.
- Ensure the following options are checked:
- Translate existing media in all languages.
- Duplicate featured images for translations.
- Duplicate media attachments for translations.
3. Use WPML Translation Editor:
- Make the necessary graphic changes to your original page.
- After saving changes, a pencil icon or circular arrows icon will appear next to the translated pages in the WPML Translation Editor.
- Click on the icon to update the translations. This will bring the changes over to the translated pages, allowing you to confirm and save them.
