Background of the issue:
I want to translate all pages on my site hidden link using WPML. I have been following a YouTube tutorial: hidden link.

Symptoms:
I checked just the homepage with a yellow sign, and it is taking a lot of time.

Questions:

Hi There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I understand what you're looking for. With WPML's automatic translation feature, all the content on your site will be translated automatically without you needing to click any buttons. You just need to make sure that automatic translation is enabled and that you have enough credits. Please refer to the link below for a detailed guide on setting up automatic translation.

If you’d like to manage credit usage, you can also choose to automatically translate individual pages selectively. I hope the guide above clarifies the process.

Regarding the issue with saving the segment, it appears you've formatted specific text using HTML. To save the segment successfully, you'll need to apply the same HTML formatting in the translation editor. To do this, select the text in the translation where formatting is needed and click on the marker icon in the translation box. Please see this screenshot for reference: hidden link.

You should be able to save the segment right after that.

Please try and feel free to let me know if you need further assistance or clarification. I'll be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hi There!
Thank you for the update.

I understand the issues you're facing. Since you're using Elementor's Header and Footer templates on your site, you'll need to translate these templates to see the Header and Footer in other languages. To learn more about translating Elementor templates, please refer to the following guide.

I thoroughly inspected your site by switching to different languages, and it appears that the Header and Footer are displaying correctly in each language. For example, here’s a hidden link">screenshot from the French version for your reference.

However, I did notice that the links in the "Our Pages" section aren't appearing translated into other languages. This may be because the links weren't translated when the Footer template was originally translated. Please update the translation of the Footer template by following the guide provided above. When the translation editor opens, search for "http" to locate the links. In the translation box, add translations for the links and save the changes. This should allow you to translate the links effectively.

To better understand the process of translating links, please check this guide: https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-urls-shortcodes-and-html-attributes-using-the-advanced-translation-editor/#translating-external-links

As you mentioned that the Russian version of the site appears broken, I also inspected that version but couldn’t detect any issues. The issue you encountered may be temporary and caused by caching. Please clear the cache from your site and browser, then check again.

Regarding your query about word count and credits, the word count indicates the number of credits required, but this varies by translation engine. For example, if you use the DeepL translation engine, each word costs 2 credits, so translating your content would require approximately 60,000 credits. However, with the Microsoft translation engine, each word costs 1 credit, meaning you would need about 30,000 credits to translate the 37 pages or posts you have.

I hope you can understand. feel free to let me know if you need further assistance or clarification in this matter. I'll be happy to help.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
