This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue with WooCommerce Multilingual (WCML) where a warning notification for compatibility of the WCML plugin persists, despite the plugin being updated to version 5.3.5. The notification suggests that 'WCML 5.2.1 and below requires compatibility mode to work', and an 'enable compatibility mode' button appears, which is unnecessary for the updated version and is already enabled.

Solution:
We recommend taking a full backup of the site and database, then deleting the option 'wpml_notices' from the 'wp_options' table in the database. After deleting this option, the notice should be removed. If the option reappears and the notice message is still present, we advise contacting the hosting support for further assistance.

Please note that this solution might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. If the issue persists, we highly recommend checking related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If necessary, please open a new support ticket for personalized assistance.

I'm facing an issue with WCML, I've enabled the HPOS of woocmerece and updated the WCML plugin but it is showing an error in the backend.

so the issue is there is a warning notification for combability of WCML plugin, it shows 'WCML 5.2.1 and below requires compatibility mode to work' but that plugin is already updated on the site and its current version is 5.3.5

Also it show 'enable compatibility mode' button which is already enabled on the site(Although its not necessary for the updated version) but plugin is still showing that notification.

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support, I’m happy to help you with this issue.

I access the admin area and don't see the warning notification, see the attached screenshots. Can you please recheck this on your end?

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks

Hi,

The notice message is stored in the option "wpml_notices", table "wp_options". On my demo site, after deleting the option, the notice should be removed. On your staging site, after I delete the option, it will get back and the notice message is still there.

I suggest you take a full backup of your site and database, delete the option and recheck this. If the option get back, please contact your hosting support and ask for more information.

Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks

Hi

I did that and that warning was removed from the backend but after sometime it was back again.

We continue to have inconsistent but serious bugs / issues with currency conversion since we've updated the plugin.

Prices are bings changed for some people.

I've had no less than 7 people go to the site for QA, some see the correct pricing for both US and CA sites (e.g. Mini Luxor should be reg USD$144 and also reg C$144, but some people are seeing reg USD$144 on US-EN and incorrectly seeing reg USD$107 on the CA-EN or CA-FR site).

Can you check what the issue?

Hi,

We limit one issue per ticket only so I will split your new issue with product price to a new ticket. Please observe the issue with the notification message and let me know how it goes.

Thanks.
