Background of the issue:
I am trying to display the Polish translation of the footer on my site hidden link. The footer is integrated via the Customizer using the shortcode '[fl_builder_insert_layout slug="footer"]'. I have already contacted the support team. I manually changed the name of the Polish footer from 'Stopka' to 'Footer', but it didn't help. Using WPML translation management, I can find it via Footer, but it is still not displayed.
Symptoms:
The Polish translation of the footer is not displayed, even though it can be found via WPML translation management.
Questions:
Is there another place where I can set the name so that the Polish footer is displayed via the shortcode (Customizer)?
Is there a solution to the problem where entering the specific shortcode for the Polish footer in the Customizer displays it correctly, but then for all translations?
Please make a full website backup and follow these steps:
1. Go to WPML > Translation Management and completely translate the Footer Element into all languages;
Check your website in a secondary language. In case it still does not show up, please follow these steps;
1. Go to WPML > Theme and Plugin Localization;
2. Select and Scan your theme;
3. Go to WPML > String Translation;
4. Search for "Footer" and see if there's any occurrence that can be translated;
5. If so, translate the Footer title to the title in the secondary languages;
Thanks for sharing your results. I'm not sure it's because of the name, but I can check that.
