Hi, and thanks for the access details. I have a few problems that need to be checked on your site. A. The backend language for my profile is German, and I don't read German. I wanted to switch this option on my profile page, but I'm blocked from accessing it. Please see the attached screenshot. B. Moreover, the secondary languages are hidden, and this can also be disabled for a specific user on the profile page. I need to disable it to continue investigating the issue. Please unblock my access to the profile page. C. The page you gave me as an example is pending review. If you haven't tried it yet, please approve this review and see if, in practice, the problem persists after the translation is published. D. Please create a test page for me and don't translate it yet. I also need to check the problem on the Advanced Translation Editor. For this, you will need to pause the "Translate Everything" mode or temporarily switch to "Translate what you choose". For the test page I request you can copy the content from a page with this problem. Please send me a link to this test page. Regards, |

Hi Itamar, A / B sorry, it's because it's a temporary admin user. I just changed the language to english and enabled the secondary languages for this user. C Approced the review and the problem persists. D I disabled the automatic translation and I created a test page here: hidden link The issue is that the problem is not reproducable there. I created a second duplicate where I tested it and there the line breaks are correct. But with all the pages created with the translate everything yesterday the problem exists. |

Thanks! I checked things on your site but have no solution for now. I'm consulting our second-tier supporters about this case and will update you once I receive their reply. I appreciate your patience. |

Hi, Also I'd like to know how to proceed with the used credits. Because if I need to retranslate the site again because of this error this would incur significant cost. |

Hi, The issue has been escalated to our developers. They are investigating the problem with the linebreaks. The example you gave us and which our developers are checking, is with the translation of this page: hidden link. Has this problem happened with other pages? WPML's Advanced Translation Editor has translation memory. The memory will be kept for any page that has been translated. Therefore, you don't need to worry about being overcharged. You can see the usage reports on the admin of this site in WPML -> Translation Management -> Tools -> Automatic translation usage reports (tab). I sent our developers a reminder about this case. Please know that the response might take longer than usual due to the holiday season. I appreciate your patience. |

Hi. I can see that our developers are actively working on finding a solution to this problem. I'll keep you updated here. Thanks for the links you sent me. However, the access to the site you gave me is not working anymore. So, I can't check those links and see their English translations. But I think our developers can check things only according to the one example you sent us. Regards, |

Hi, Our developer informed me this issue will be fixed in the next version of WPML's Advanced Translation Editor. You would then need to resend those jobs through the Translation Management dashboard for the problem to be solved. The Translation Memory will work; you will not need to translate the page again. Only the linebreak problem will then be solved. You should also already (without waiting for the next version of ATE) be able to correct this problem using the following steps. 1. While editing a translation with ATE, click the gear icon at the top right corner. A popup will show. 2. Uncheck the "I prefer bigger segments" option. Please see the attached screenshot. 3. The next time you send this job for translation, the problem should be solved. I will update you once that problem is fixed on ATE (Advanced Translation Editor). Regards, |
