This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client's website was translated using pre-paid credits, and after switching to Pay As You Go mode, the client noticed a charge of $100, and a significant amount of credits were consumed. The client is unsure what the credits have been used for.
Solution:
We recommend checking the usage of credits for each website by generating a report that includes URLs of translated pages and the number of credits used. Here are the steps to follow:
Take note that we use security limits, that will ask for a payment if a significant use of credits does occur for the first time. 1. Navigate to WPML → Translation Management and click on the Automatic Translation tab.
2. Click on Payment & Settings and expand the Automatic translation usage reports section.
3. Select a month and click to generate a report.
4. Download and review the report to see the details of credit usage.
Additionally, if the translations are not visible on the website, it may be due to a setting in WPML that requires automatic translations to be reviewed before publishing. These reviews can be accessed at WPML > Translations.
If the provided solution does not apply to your situation, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
