WordPress 6.7 has introduced a new issue that impact translations, please update WooCommerce and WPML to the latest versions before you report issues. More about this here - https://wpml.org/errata/php-error-wp-6-7-notice-function-_load_textdomain_just_in_time-was-called/
Hi Marcel, thanks for checking. I understand what you mean about widget titles, I translated them but didn't see on live. For example Quick Menu is Snelmenu but maybe it's because cookies. This are ok, not so required.
For the resumes, I open the post type from settings to translate. Only thing I dont understand, country and profession has select multiple option like language, experience and license. Why only 2 lines are translated. Can you check again if I missing a setting? I appreciate if you can give any advise to solve it. Because after we start ads, there will be more people and solving manually will create another job for us.
Country and profession have multiple select options like language, experience, and license. Why are only two lines translated?
I’m not sure if I completely understand. Do you mean that only two lines are appearing on the frontend? If so, it’s likely because the translation has nothing selected: hidden link.
Most likely, the custom fields for this theme are set to "Do not translate." You can check this setting under WPML -> Settings.
Hi Marcel, I solved first issue and it's ok now. I understand what should I do 🙂
Country and profession have multiple select options like language, experience, and license. Why are only two lines translated?
I mean first 2 is auto translated, For example create a resume, you'll enter all the data, and then open translation of the resume, then you'll see only profession and country is translated. Below options which you mentioned not selected are selected in original resume, and why country and profession is coming as trasnalted but others not. I hope I'm clear now. If you want I can record a video.
I’m not sure I fully understand what you mean, but the "countries" and "profession" fields are taxonomies. This means their translations are managed through these links:
Job Location Taxonomy
Job Category Taxonomy
It seems not all entries have been translated. Everything else is handled as "free input."
You can translate taxonomies also via hidden link.
Hi Marcel, actually they are not taxonomy but custom fields. I arranged them here: hidden link then I checked hidden link String translations for Noo custom fields, and make them. But still translation of a resume is not fully filled when translated.
EN hidden link
Translated NL hidden link
I'll ask theme support about it. and let you know if I solve it or not. The only missing thing is this for now.
