This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
After translating pages, images are not appearing on the translated versions. In the media library for the new language, only 40% of the content is displayed, while the remainder seems to be missing.
Solution:
If you're experiencing this issue, we recommend checking the settings inside the right sidebar of the WordPress Editor for each page or post. Ensure that the checkboxes to duplicate the featured image and attached media are marked. This action doesn't duplicate the physical image but creates the necessary database entries for different languages.
To sync all media in the library, navigate to WPML > Settings > Media Translation and click the "Start" button. This process might take some time but should resolve the issues with media not showing up in the second language.
If the problem persists, try re-uploading the images as this has resolved the issue in some cases.
Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue continues, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum for further assistance.
