This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are trying to use WPML for automatic translations and have encountered issues after inserting your payment method. The translation process starts but then returns an error, and you are prompted to re-enter your payment method. However, you receive a message that your account was deleted and are asked to wait 4 hours before trying again.
Solution:
The issue arises because your card was declined during the 'safety limit' charge, which is a temporary hold to ensure funds are available for upcoming translations. After multiple failed attempts, the system automatically canceled your subscription. This has triggered a cool-down period enforced by WPML to prevent further issues, which is why you are seeing the message to wait before trying again. To resolve this:
1. Verify with your bank or payment provider that your card can handle recurring charges and holds.
2. If your card is in good standing but the issue persists, contact us for further assistance. We may need to involve someone with access to the payment system backend.

Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Hey there,

Based on what our accounts team shared, here’s what’s happening:

Your subscription was created on March 26, and during the process, WPML tried to charge your card for what's called a “safety limit”—this is a temporary hold to ensure that funds are available for upcoming translations. Unfortunately, the card was declined at that point, and after multiple failed attempts, the system automatically canceled the subscription.

When a subscription is canceled several times in a short period, WPML enforces a cool-down period to help prevent further issues. That’s why you're seeing the message asking you to wait before trying again. Each failed attempt resets and increases that waiting time.

In short:

• The translation process errors out because of the declined card at the safety limit stage.

• The system won’t allow re-adding the payment method right away due to too many recent cancellations.

• “Account deleted” in this context just refers to the temporary deactivation caused by these repeated failures.

What you can do now: Please double-check with your bank or payment provider to make sure everything is okay on their end and that the card can handle recurring charges or holds. If everything looks good but the issue continues, let me know—we may need someone with Stripe access to take a closer look at what’s going wrong behind the scenes.

Hope this helps clear things up, and I’ll be happy to keep working with you to get everything back on track.

Yes, i figured it out trying with another card.

Now i have another problem, when i launch the automatic translation, somehow, the AI change the original language text.

I only want to translate from italian to english, not that the AI change even the Italian.

I just follow the steps i follow for many websites, insert card, click pay as you go, and select the content for the translation then launch the translation.

So i don't know why it changes the orignal input text in Italian.

Furthermore, i bought some credits, to see if i could solve the issue, when i try to add them to my website, on wpml website it says 10000 credits, in my website it says 0, even after several minutes. So Basically i'm stuck and can't auto-translate it.
