This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is using the AVADA theme for the mega menu option on their site and has noticed that the main category menu item names are not getting translated in both languages, despite being translated already in the WPML String Translation and Taxonomy Translation sections. Solution: 1. We recommended translating the links manually using the Advanced Translation Editor. The client should use the search form in the Advanced Translation Editor to locate and translate the links. 2. For static links, which the client is using, manual translation is necessary. We provided guidance on how to manually translate these links. 3. We suggested using dynamic content options for links, as explained in the Avada documentation (https://avada.com/documentation/how-to-use-dynamic-content-options-in-avada/), which would allow WPML to adjust the links automatically. 4. We also advised searching for category names or slug titles that might not include http or https, and translating them accordingly. 5. We manually saved some translations for the client that were not previously saved, ensuring they are now 100% complete for both languages. 6. We added custom XML configuration to help translate all links, instructing the client to search, translate, and save all links.

I regret any inconvenience caused, but to proceed with troubleshooting, I kindly ask for a snapshot of the site. Alternatively, with your permission, I can create one myself. For this purpose, I typically recommend using the free plugin "Duplicator." If you're already familiar with Duplicator (https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/), please skip the following steps and simply send me the archive file you downloaded.
To guide you further, please adhere to these instructions:
1. View the Duplicator instructions video: hidden link
3. If the archive file exceeds 400MB, please use Duplicator's file filters to exclude cache, wp-uploads directory, media, and archive files.
Once you have the archive file ready, kindly share the link with us. You can utilize platforms like Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar for file sharing, as the snapshot file might be large.
Please note that your next reply will be private, visible only to you and me. You can paste the file link there. Rest assured that once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local site.
Hi Kor,
The Site's file size seems huge
It's database is only crossing 400 MB and is upto 1k MB [ In SS ]
What can be done here to compress it upto 400MB...
Hi Kor,
There are two issues pertaining where am unable to detect at the moment why it is so:
- French and Spanish Product sub-menus are having english URL
- On French translation of some product or product category pages Search bar is not only disappearing but also showing odd icons.
As this is on production site and would stand as bad impression to our visitors, please find some solution to it, its being cause by inappropriate string translation or so ? I do not understand!
Thanks

As for this ticket, we will follow up with the French and Spanish Product sub-menus are having english URL. I will come back to you as quickly as possible.
Thanks for the info here, but I have already tried the Advance Translation editor but didn't worked for me, I mean through auto process,
DO we have to translate them manually putting/es/ after the domain name and also change the words to Spanish and French respectively ? If so, there are high chances of 404 errors due to inappropriate translation or mismatch in existing translated url of every product and category,
Please correct if, there is another better way.
These are static links and you'll need to manually translate them. There are no other ways, unfortunately. Do you need more guidance on how to manually translate the link or do you know how to fix it already?
I guess I have to visit the relevant translated page versions let say If I wanna translate
Grinding wheels /en/ URL - I will translate it to first /es/ and /fr/ and then will copy the URL appearing in chrome search bar and paste in front of English ver. of same URL in Advanced Translation.
Is It or there is some other way to it ?
That's the correct way to do that. But if you use dynamic contents for your links as explained here hidden link , then, the links will be adjusted automatically by WPML. For static links like what you're using, you will need to translate it manually.
Got It thanks a many,
but there is one thing I have observed, on searching the term "https"
WPML Advance translator is showing only .jpg URLs and not the URLs for Product Title or Product Category.
It can be seen in your shared screenshot as well hidden link
