Background of the issue:
I had to edit my translations and I noticed that I cannot use the "&" symbol anymore in the translation field. Before that, I know I could, and did. But now every time I try to add it and save to match the original, it disappears. Original version in French: hidden link (where it says "Réservation & Contact" at the top) Translation in English: hidden link (where it says "Booking Contact" at the top instead of "Booking & Contact")
Symptoms:
I expected to see: Booking & Contact. Instead, I got: Booking Contact.
Questions:
Why can't I use the "&" symbol in the translation field anymore?
How can I fix the issue so that the "&" symbol appears correctly in the translation?
This is a bug with the newest version of the Translation Editor. At the moment the only solution we can offer is to switch back to the previous version, which you can do from the settings in the top right corner in the Translation editor.
