Hi there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support!

I tried to check the website's homepage, but it was protected with a username and password. I checked the website's debug information and saw more than one plugin for sliders. Please let us know which plugin was used to build that slider so we can recommend the next steps.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Hi,

Thanks for providing the additional details, could you please make sure you have followed the below doc for translating the Nectar slider: https://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/create-multilingual-wordpress-websites-using-the-salient-theme-and-wpml/#translating-nectar-sliders

If still an issue persists, please provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP Login info) to your site (preferably staging site), so that I can look into your setup and debug the issue.

Your next answer will be private which means only you and I have access to it.

=== Please backup your database and website ===

✙ I would additionally need your permission to deactivate and reactivate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important.

Thank you

I’m able to translate the slider button text by following the below steps:

1. Went to WPML >> Theme and plugins localization page.

2. Scanned the Salient theme by selecting it and pressing the “Scan selected themes for strings” button.

3. Scanned the Salient core plugin by selecting it and pressing the “Scan selected plugins for strings” button.

4. Went to WPML >> String Translation page and searched for “Read Article” text and added the translation.

And it seems to be working correctly at the front end. Could you please check and confirm?

You may update the translation from here:

Please let me know if this resolves your issue or if you need further assistance.
