so if I see the latest comment correctly, youre saying change it from the first line to the next, yet they are exactly the same?
I gave you ftp access info in earlier message. I havent change anything with that. It should work.I made sure password was reentered
I looked at the files and took snapshot. I made no changes. sending for your viewing. along with snapshot of ftp access again.

Unfortunately I receive the same results -- it can't find the server. I've used 2 different FTP clients with same results.
You are adding two slashes in front of the code //
This comments out the PHP code thus rendering it not active.
"Single line comments start with //.
Any text between // and the end of the line will be ignored (will not be executed)."

so I posted a new post after the change was made, and it still hasnt allowed the bulk of the post to get converted.
I was looking in the WPML plug in Translation management and theres 2 spinning wheels on the group area trying to connect somewhere for translation. could this be hanging things up?

so I posted after making the change to line 83 and it hasnt changed anything as far as translating.
I do have a daily backup of the server. I noticed you installed a WP file.
When I did everything I could and was stuck with things not working, I did try to rewind the site back to a time before loading the WPML, and when going back to web site, it was still hanging onto the language switching at login. which it really shouldnt have. So Im not sure a re-install is in the picture, but Im letting you know all of it didnt come out when I tried. I then went back to the restore and continued where I was but asking for your help by then.

so I saw an email from buddy boss this morning and it lead to a video that was made 3 months ago. and at the 6:27 mark the guy starts speaking on the bilingual app. now this buddy boss has 2 ways for people to view, through the web and through a custom made buddy boss app that is made to match the web site. I dont have an app to mate with my web site since those apps are made either for apple or android, and if you offend google or apple, they shut off your app. its happened. so I will just go ahead with the web site alone. yet I asked buddy boss why they would announce an outline that would only partially translate some features and not all of the, like the main feed. its totally useless for me not to have the feed not translated. so we may be chasing a ghost trying to get this to work. we just need to hear from the buddy boss people what the hell is going on right now. maybe you could call them and confirm all this? I replied under the video, but who knows if I will ever get a decent reply...

I decided to actually do a ticket with buddy boss and figure out what is going on with all the discrepancy. this is totally unreal that a theme maker announces bilingual attachment and then says it wont translate everything. why would anyone want a partial translation of their web page? Ive spent a few hundred dollars for a translation of a few words on the page? someone has some serious explaining to do.

I just wanted to inform you that I received an email that was supposedly generated by WPML/wordpress somehow, it came after I decided to add a new group to the page. (PGN)
Not sure what this means as far as someone trying to figure out why it isnt fully working... it appears it has the 5 languages I had chosen to get the translations on each has an entry, but very little. we already knew that only certain headings or page words got translated, and none of the main post has ever changed out of english.

This is a standard email notification via WPML.
You can control them by going to WPML->Settings->Tranlsation Notifications.
It is an automated email and not related to this issue. Our team is currently in direct communication with Buddy Boss and we will update you as soon as there are news regarding the translation of the feed items.

standard notification? then how is the first and only one I ever received? theres nothing standard about that.
while youre on the phone with buddy boss, ask about how they are making a way to translate their buddy boss app, but not the theme? I think instead of the WPML realm being considered the problem, the issue is everything points that buddy boss isnt allowing the regular web page theme the same tools. I guess Im not the majority where I would rather see a web page on a larger screen, then on a dinky cell phone, yet the people at buddy boss no doubt are catering to the app before the theme. buddy boss just has to admit the WPML is not going to fully work on the entire page. so how buddy boss can come out and say we web people can get out pages translated, but not totally is a total joke. they should have never announced that it could be done. it appears I am asking for the impossible, so when buddy boss can confess to this debacle, they can give me my money back.
