Did you fix the issue before creating the backup file? Please create a backup file before fixing the issue or share the credentials of the live site with me so I can take a look.

Yes, I know how you fix the issue on your live site but I need a backup file at the time the issue is happening, not after fixing it, as I said before (https://wpml.org/forums/topic/conflict-with-avada-options-portfolio-slug-header-content-logo/page/2/#post-13791783)

What steps do I need to do if your live site is working now and I have the credentials?

Hi,

After restoring the new backup file on your site, I can see the issue and portfolio slug also, screenshot hidden link
I notice that, the list of portfolio posts on the page "pellicules" is created by the grid shortcode (plugin The Grid).

The issue does not happen on the archive page hidden link which is the standard archive page of the theme. So I think it's not an issue between Avada and WPML.

I suggest you can go to admin area > The Grid > Global settings > Disable caching grid to avoid this issue. Also, please don't edit the grid item and change the grid language.

I hope that gives you some insights. You can also contact The Grid author and ask about this issue if they'd aware of this.

a) /programa/ (and eventually its translations), for e.g> "This Is Not Me"
I see it does not work on my local host, but for only this portfolio, other portfolios still work as well.

b) /que-es-fire/edicions-anteriors/2022-segueix-la-teva-flama/ (here I´m using the avada portfolio element)
All works properly.

c) What happens if you deactivate WPML and retry the "/pelliculas" links to portfolio pages?
If I deactivate WPML, the portfolio slug option is deleted, screenshot hidden link
You might need to re-add the slug and re-save the permalink to make it works again, nothing I should do at this point.

I got some information from our 2nd tier support. They are not able to replicate the issue from your backup file with clear steps. It's really difficult to fix an issue if it happens randomly and cannot replicate. If it is resolved after re-saving permalink settings, you can try to set a cron job to regenerate the rewrite rules every 24 hours (or maybe every few hours). For example:

    wp_schedule_event( time(), 'daily', 'my_daily_rewrite_rules_flush' );
}

add_action( 'my_daily_rewrite_rules_flush', 'my_flush_rewrite_rules' );
