Hi,

I have a multilingual site in which I use WPML. I'm using the PODS plugin which allows me to create custom post types. Each post type can have a template to display the singular/details page of a post. I made the pods template translatable and I added a template for both the primary and the secondary language to display the details/single of my post. In the PODS plugin, Auto template options has been enabled and I selected the singular template to the post template that I created. The content in the template such as headings should change between the primary and the secondary language, however this is not happening. In a previous thread I had seen that unchecking ‘Adjust IDs for multilingual functionality’ may solve the problem, however this results in posts from both languages being displayed in one language and the issue still not being solved.

Would really appreciate some help here!

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

The PODS Plugins is not a recommended plugin on wpml.org:
https://wpml.org/plugin-functionality/custom-post-types-taxonomy/
https://wpml.org/plugin-functionality/custom-fields/

This means, we do not have a partnership with the author of the plugin and we were not able to test the plugin and can not confirm if it is fully compatible with WPML.

According to the information on wordpress.org the author is handling the compatibility for WPML which means if you run into the issue it would be best if you report it there.

https://wordpress.org/plugins/pods/

I see that this issue was also reported on our forum already and the user actually found a workaround for the issue:

https://wpml.org/forums/topic/how-to-use-wpml-translation-in-pods-templates/#post-14291475

Could you please give this a try and let me know if you have any further questions?

Best regards
Andreas
