This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You are using the Modern Event Calendar in WordPress and have translated the calendar page from traditional Chinese to English using WPML. Initially, the texts around the calendar appeared in English, but no events were displayed. After translating a few event pages individually, you encountered an error message indicating 'too many redirects', and the browser could not open the page.
Solution:
We recommend comparing the steps you followed with those described in the guide on how to translate events using WPML with the Modern Event Calendar. You can find the guide here: https://webnus.net/dox/modern-events-calendar/translate-with-wpml-plugin/. This comparison will help ensure that the events are translated correctly.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket with us for further assistance at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I am using the Modern Event Calendar in WordPress and have translated the calendar page from traditional Chinese to English using WPML. I want to display the calendar with translated events on my site hidden link. I have more than 140 events and want to translate only upcoming events.

Symptoms:
At first, after translating the calendar page, the texts around the calendar are in English, but no events are shown. Then I translated few event pages individually in the hope that the calendar page would automatically display the translated event title etc properly, but instead I received an error message saying 'too many redirects, browser can't even open the page, which was worse than the first try.

Questions:
How can I show the translated calendar page properly?
Is there a way to translate only upcoming events and avoid translating old events unnecessarily?
