Hi Shekhar,

Ok I translated "Cannabis Movies" with a string translation. It's translated now in the backend but on the front it's not showing the translation.

I also did a synchronisation of the menu I tried to translate the string from there. However the string "Cannabis Movies" was not showing. Synchronising the menu as has resulted now that in the Dutch menu there are items double now. Can I delete the items that are double now by using the language switch ?

Thanks.

Hello there,

Every ticket is reserved for resolving one specific matter, ensuring focused support, streamlined communication, and high-quality service. Therefore, please open new tickets for the menu issues.

As a quick solution, I suggest you to translate the page title of Cannabis Movies and do the synchronization instead of string translations.

Look forward to your reply.

Thanks

Hello,

I understand. I deleted now all Dutch blog category's, in the backend but on the front they are all still visible.

However could these problems be related to the fact that the divi theme builder templates where set up manually by using the language switch and not by translating this with wpml? And how to switch translating these theme builder templates by translating with wpml?

Thanks,
Marcel

1 last question in this case:
Is it possible to make the Divi theme builder templates manually by using the language switcher and still using the wpml editor ?

Thank you,
Marcel

Hello there,

You can resend the templates to translations from WPML->Translation management to override the translations from manual edits.

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks

ok and if that solution is not working?

For example trying to translate the words: description, additional
information of this page hidden link

It's translated in wpml but not showing on the front page.

Thank you.

Hello there,

I identified the issue: when the theme builder was set to translate, and you translated it, entries were created. Now that we've set it to not translate, those entries still remain, causing the existing translations to appear instead of the newly created ones. We'll need to clear them out.

I would suggest you to follow the below steps:
- Backup your site first
- Go to hidden link
- This will list all the body templates that was created
- Switch to secondary languages using the language switcher at the top or the links
- Delete the previously translated templates, delete it from trash too.
- Go to Divi Theme builder and save it
- Go to WPML->Translations Management and translate it.

This should work, for the header and footer layout use this links:
hidden link
hidden link et_header_layout

Let me know if this helps.

Thanks

Those are hidden post types, so you can't find them without using the links.
