I was able to complete the steps you sent me in the video to the "About NPO" page and the "Custom Product Applications" page and it worked perfectly. The test edits I made were showing on the front-end.
I then applied the same steps to the "Home" page, "Nuclear Power" page and the "Lead + Steel Fabrication" page and the test edits I made to those French pages were not showing on the front end. I noticed instead of the pencil icon I see the gear icon. Do you know why the steps aren't working for these pages?
I'm trying to go through these steps for every page so they can be edited any time moving forward without having to go through these steps again. Several worked just fine but several are not working and showing the popup message after I click the "Complete Translation" button. Then instead of the pencil icon I'm getting the gear icon. Can you tell me why I'm getting this message and why it is switching to the gear icon and show me how to resolve this? See screenshot.
For some reason it's not letting me upload the screenshot, giving me a HTTP Error. Below is what the popup message said:
Translation in progress - wait before editing
This page that you are editing is being translated right now. If you edit now, some or all of the translation for this page may be missing. It's best to wait until translation completes, then edit and update the translation.
It seems like a caching issue. I checked the issue on a page, and it worked correctly after clearing the WP Engine cache. Kindly check this hidden link">video.
