[Resolved] Enable auto translate for WooCommerce products
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client was unable to see the translation engines and the 'Translate automatically' option in WPML -> Post Type Translations, and their WooCommerce products were not being translated. Solution: We recommended the following steps: 1. Navigate to WPML -> Translation Management -> Translation Tools tab. 2. Scroll down to find translation engines and enable/disable a few. 3. Go to WPML -> Settings to check if the translation engines are now visible. 4. If visible, proceed to WPML -> Translation Management and look for a switch to enable automatic translation. 5. If the issue persists, unregister and re-register WPML on the site by following these steps: - Go to the WPML registration page and click on 'Unregister WPML from this site'. - Remove the site from your WPML account. - Generate a new key and register the site again. 6. Double-check if the issue is resolved by ensuring the site can connect to WPML servers. 7. If problems continue, it might be related to a known issue which can be checked here: https://wpml.org/errata/admins-cannot-access-wpml-translation-management/
Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the issue persists, please open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.

Background of the issue:
I'm trying to set up auto-translate and have it translate products.
I expected to see:
1) Translation engines – hidden link
2) A "Translate automatically" option next to posts in WPML -> Post Type Translations – hidden link
But I don't see any of that, and the products are not being translated:
1) hidden link
2) hidden link
3) hidden link
Symptoms:
I don't see the translation engines or the 'Translate automatically' option, and the products are not being translated.
Questions:
Why don't I see the translation engines?
Why is the 'Translate automatically' option missing next to posts in WPML -> Post Type Translations?
Why are my WooCommerce products not being translated?
Reference to our recent chat, meanwhile this ticket is attended by one of my colleagues, please let us know your findings after checking only with WPML and a default theme, in a staging site.
We'll try our best to further help you on the matter.
Hi, I have deactivated all plugins and switched to the default theme on the staging site hidden link, but WPML still does not work properly: hidden link hidden link
Hello,
My name is Carlos and I will continue working on this ticket
Could you share the access credentials to the site in your next message so I can take a closer look at the issue? (the credentials you might have shared previously were automatically removed for security reasons)
Also, confirm you created a full site backup that you can restore if necessary.
Please follow these steps:
- Go to hidden link and click on 'Unregister WPML from this site'
- Go to https://wpml.org/account/sites/ -> Remove the site
- Go back to hidden link -> Click on the link that appears below the field to enter the key
- Generate a new key and register the site again
- Double-check if the issue disappeared
Note: Your site can't connect to our servers, and I strongly suspect that the problem originated after migrating or restoring the site.
As you can see in the first entry of the log: hidden link the sitekey doesn't match so I recommend to repeat the same steps and make sure you are using a new sitekey
