There are a few errors in translating some words/parts of the website olivestyling.nl

At the categorypage, you have a filter, text that will not be translated is: wis selectie
The search bar at some pages like category and shop the look is still in dutch: waar ben je naar op zoek
At the check-out page at shipping there is still standing: Afhalen
At the search page it selves: Waarmee mogen we je helpen
At the blog page the text is staying as: Verder lezen
The discount codes are still in dutch.

Hi,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. Thanks for contacting us.

We are currently handling a high amount of ticket and while waiting for one of my colleagues to help with this ticket, please allow me to share some initial documentation:

On this page you will learn how to translate texts coming from widgets, plugins and themes. You will be able to translate texts from admin screens or use the auto-register option to easily find strings.

Hi!

Some of the strings appear and are translated. But not on the front end showing up. So I don't know what it is.

Also there is a new issue coming up. When you are on a product and change then to English it shows a page 'no results'. Do you refresh the page then, then it loads the English version of the product.

It feels like there are multiple issues on this website.

New threads created by Prosenjit Barman and linked to this one are listed below:

Hello There,
I hope you're doing well.

Thank you for trying out the suggestions. If you have added the Translation for the Static strings that you've mentioned, they should appear properly in the Frontend. Could you please share the link to the pages where I can see the issues? I will check again and let you know what to do next.

Kindly be informed that we are allowed to handle one issue per ticket. Since the issue you mentioned in the last message is different than the issues you reported at first, I created a new ticket for you. A response will be sent to that ticket soon. Thank you for understanding this matter.

Best Regards,
Prosenjit

Hello There,

I have checked the page and have been able to see the issue. Could you please try the steps below and check if that helps to translate that text?

- Please go to "WPML > Theme and Plugins localization"
- Scroll down to the plugin section and choose the plugin associated with the Filter.
- Scan the plugin for strings
- Once the scan is completed, please go to "WPML > String Translation" and search for the text that is showing in the English version of the site.
- If that text appears in the result, simply add the translation by clicking on the "+" icon.

Let me know if that helps or if you need further assistance. I will be happy to help.

Best Regards,
Prosenjit

Hi!

I have tried your suggestion. But when I look in the string translations for that string. It doesn't show up as untranslated.

So we have
1. 'wis selectie' at the filter part, for example: hidden link
2. 'verder lezen' at the blog page: hidden link
3. 'afhalen' at the shipping options of the checkout page: hidden link

Another issue we have:
- The blog is in Dutched published, but in English it stays as a concept. But the blog is findable if you try to find it. I have tried to publish it manually in the backend. But then it flips back to concept.

Hello There,
Thank you for patiently trying out the suggestions.

I would like to inform you that I didn't notice the 'verder lezen' text in the English version of the Blog page. It only appears in the German version.

But, as the text in the Filter is not showing translated, I would like to take a closer look to understand the root cause of the issue.

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated.

You will find the needed fields below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you.

IMPORTANT
-Please backup site files and database before providing us access.
-If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:

Looking forward to your response.

Kindly be informed that we are allowed to handle 1 issue per ticket. Since the issue you mentioned in the last response is different, I kindly request you create a new ticket for that issue. Me or one of our supporters will take your ticket and assist you accordingly.

Best Regards,
Prosenjit

Hello There,
Thanks for sharing the access information.

I'm happy to inform you that the issue is fixed now. Divi Sync was enabled for the Reset Button field which is why, the default text was only showing for the Reset Button in other languages. Please check this screenshot for a better understanding: hidden link

I disabled the Sync, and added the translation manually and that fixes the issue.

Please let me know if there is anything else you need help. I will be happy to assist.

Best Regards,
Prosenjit
