This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is trying to delete translations that were done automatically and is looking for guidance or documentation on how to do so.
Solution:
We informed the client that it is not possible to delete translations stored in the translation memory. However, we provided documentation on how WPML keeps track of translations: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/how-wpml-keeps-track-of-your-translations/.
We also suggested that if the client prefers, they can switch to the Classic Translation Editor by following the instructions here: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-the-translation-editor/#activating-the-classic-translation-editor.
Additionally, we asked if the client was referring to translation mode options and recommended continuing to use the Advanced Translation Editor for its benefits.

Please note that the solution provided might be irrelevant if it's outdated or not applicable to your case. If the issue persists, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Tell us what you are trying to do?

Is there any documentation that you are following?

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site? hidden link

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML support!

You can't actually delete translations done automatically, as these are stored in translation memory:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/how-wpml-keeps-track-of-your-translations/

You can switch to Classic Translation Editor like this though:
https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-the-translation-editor/#activating-the-classic-translation-editor

Or you are referring to translation mode options (see image)?

But we definitely suggest you keep using Advanced Translation Editor.

Does any of the above answer your question?

Regards,
Bruno Kos

When I do all of these steps (choosing Classic Translation Editor), I still don't get flags in my Pages, where I can proceed translating.

Hi,

Can you send a screenshot of this? Based on how you describe it though, sounds like your pages are not set as translatable.

Can you check if this is the case?

Regards,
Bruno Kos
