There used to be a "job ID" field before but it confused people so it was removed. we're actually working on a possible improvement for this workflow and i have added this ticket as a vote to elevate its priority (about the entire process). I can try to help you out in the meantime if you send me the XLIFF files that you have and you tell me which template is not working (if you know some them) so i can investigate teh real issue here: why were the XLIFF uploaded and the translations didn't take. |

1) You can use a platform like wetransfer, dropbox or any other of your liking (the links are all masked so only you and i can see them) 2) Let me know some of the library templates that you already know you have issues in 3) Allow me to check them out on your website or on a staging site, whichever is better for you (staging sites are always best). |

Hi Alejandro, So for some reason, the initial import of all xliffs in the single zip file, completed successfully, yet did not import around 30% of the translations. I have no idea why, perhaps this is something you can look into in a testing environment. So my problem is resolved. I do hope however that my findings will lead to a few changes in WPML. From now on, I am manually renaming each xliff file, adding the page title at the end. Very cumbersome, but otherwise checking which is which if something goes wrong during the import is such a pain in the ass. |

I'm suspecting that the problem here was not so much with the site but with the server configuration. if, say, the zip file was bigger than what your server allowed or the time it allwed to process the files was also shorter than needed, you could've had issues where the server just stopped processing and that wouldn't necessarily caused an error because some of the elements were actually imported already. If this happens with big amounts, try to increase the timeout limit and max_file_size on your server and check if it works. Regards. |
