This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to find the content of a slide in the Layer Slider plugin to translate it using WPML's String Translation. The domain field only shows 'Layer Slider' and not 'Layer Slider Slides'.
Solution:
We recommend double-checking that you are following the correct steps for translating Layer Slider content as outlined in our guide. Here is the guide for creating multilingual sliders using LayerSlider and WPML: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/creating-multilingual-sliders-using-layerslider-and-wpml/

I have followed the guide and that is the reason I'm reaching out.

In the first step of the guide is mentioned to select the domain (LayerSliders Slides) where in my case I have only LayerSlider....

Hi there,

1.- I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Our Debugging Procedures

I will be checking various settings in the backend to see if the issue can be resolved. Although I won't be making changes that affect the live site, it is still good practice to back up the site before providing us access. If we do need to debug the site further, I will duplicate the site and work in a separate, local development environment to avoid affecting the live site.

2.- Please provide the debug information of the site in the section that appears below this ticket.

In this link, you will find the steps to follow: https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/

Please don't paste the debug information within the ticket

Thank you for sharing the requested information.

Before we continue I kindly ask you to follow these steps:
- Create a full backup of the site
- Update all outdated plugins and themes that appear in this link: hidden link
- Flush any cache memory that might exist
- Increase the WP memory Limit. Minimum requirements are 128Mb: https://wpml.org/home/minimum-requirements/
You can add this to wp-config.php to increase WP memory:`

/* Memory Limit */
define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M');

- Add it above the line /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */
- You can double-check the WordPress memory limit in WPML -> Support

Double-check if the issue disappeared after finishing the steps described above.

Looking forward to your message.

I did all updates, unfortunately the 128M memory it will take some time as I requested it to my hosting provider.

In the mean time I don't think this is related to memory issues....

can someone check this in order to be able to use the translation as stated in the website?

thanks a lot in advance,
BR

Hi there,
Thank you for updating the outdated functionalities

I have increased the WordPress memory for you 🙂

However, when visiting LayerSlide, I can't see the slides you mentioned. Could you share the URL to edit the slides?

Hi,
Thank you for sharing the link

I re-saved the strings in the slide and now you can translate them in WPML -> String Translation: hidden link

Can you confirm that the issue is solved?
