Hello, Welcome to the WPML support forum. Before passing this thread to my colleague, I would like to share some suggestions and possible solutions for the issues you mentioned. To help you faster, I've enabled debug information for this support ticket. Please see this link for how to get this information from your site and give it to us: http://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/ We have to use a unique identifier to match between the records, as described in the following section of the doc. Only then can we connect the original taxonomy terms and their translations. hidden link hidden link -- Bigul |

Hello, I apologize for the delay in responding. I will take care of this ticket; the reply time will be shorter now. Please try using WPML Export and Import instead of WPML All Import. I noted you have both installed. WPML All Import is a legacy plugin. For better functionality and support, we recommend using our new WPML Export and Import plugin. Please follow the steps described here: Best Regards, |

Hello, you are right, in the meantime a found out, that it only works with the term meta informations. I also discovered, that I must synchronize the items, after I import all 4 languages. If I run the synchronization only with two langs, and then import the next, the meta informations are already deleted and it does not work. Am I right? Can the meta terms be stored also for later synchronizations? |

Hello, Yes, when the process is completed, the extra data is cleaned. I suggest reimporting the translations but including the original; there should be an option to ignore existing products when updating so it's not overwritten. I think this workflow may work. Best Regards, |
